Those are legitimate concerns. I think the best idea is to adopt the mindset of being watched, and only share what you're comfortable with under those circumstances. For what it's worth, I believe the internet has largely moved on from being shocked or appalled or whatever it was initially about waifuism, and even pony waifuists. However bad you're imagining things are, they probably aren't anymore.

Of course, that's no reason to abandon prudence.

It's a nice change of pace falling asleep next to one mare and waking up to another, instead of waking up alone.

I don't really think much of what happened in 2010 anymore this time of year, I haven't for the last three or so. Looking forward to Valentine's Day.
