Babe told me a story. - Ziggy and Angelbaby - 09-16-2015

Babe told me a story about the perfect plate of spaghetti:

The noodles (presumably angel hair) would be so finely made that they would only be visible from a certain angle. They would be strong enough to tie to the end of a balcony and climb down their length, but they would instantly melt in your mouth and leave behind a delicious buttery flavor. Ordinary meatballs would be too embarrassed to go anywhere near such noodles; blushing bright red and rolling away awkwardly.

Only a special meatball could keep the company of such fine noodles. It would be multi-layered: A layer of beef surrounding a layer of turkey surrounding a core of chicken. Increasingly moist. "Please eat us," they would call, silently. Telepathically seducing your taste buds.

The sauce would be drained from The Tomato; an enormous, bright red thing with a spicket protruding from its side. You can't leave things like the perfect sauce up to chance. Relying upon numerous different tomatoes. No: All of the perfect sauce would derive from this one gigantic specimen. The sauce would of course be collected by gnomes on stilts who wore bowl-shaped hats to collect the precious sauce.

And then you'd have the perfect plate of spaghetti. Obviously the plate itself hardly matters.

Babe told me a story.

A village was beset by a giant chicken; apparently made huge by some magical spike in the vicinity of a local chicken coop. The fate of its fellow fowls: Squashed flat. The enormous bird was confronted - and ultimately slain - by a group of brave (and hungry) knights. Since it would obviously be a waste otherwise, the giant chicken was made into one enormous chicken nugget. It could be enjoyed at length, as it was wisely preserved by magic.

How they managed to bread the thing is unknown.

Babe told me a story.

About an ancient race of platypuses that gorged themselves on ancient peoples. They apparently brought down an entire civilization; the only remaining record of their incredible appetites appearing in hieroglyphics. One panel, etched into the huge bricks of an interior pyramid wall, showed the thin, hungry platypuses. The second panel, occupying the same wall, showed the bizarre mammals patting their distended bellies.

Babe told me another story.

About a secret place of dwelling behind the refrigerator. Where giant cockroaches could go to get drunk; though they often spilled their beer when attempting to carry the cans with their hindmost legs.

That sounds horrifying.

Babe told me a story.

About an amorous robot who had a love affair with a VCR. This ultimately led to his traveling back in time several decades to become his own grandfather.

Babe told me a story.

About the "God Claw." An artifact of great power; wielded by a worthy cat. Sure, there were many brave felines who wielded holy swords in the conflict against the mutant porcupines with deadly projectile quills, but they could only carry the weapons in their forelegs for so long before dropping them (ultimately ending up on funny Youtube cat videos). With the God Claw artifact equipped, however, it was possible for a warrior feline to run on all fours and still effectively employ the weapon.

This doubtless marked a turning point in the conflict.

Babe told me a story.

About The Continued Adventures of the Mighty Man-Boy. He dwells deep in the jungles of Somewhere or Other; fearlessly taming the indigenous beasts and tirelessly chewing on overly hard pretzels. Man-Boy even managed to win the loyalty of the gorilla Nug Nug whose coat evokes the orange-and-brown-ish coating of chicken nuggets.

Somewhere or Other sounds like a nice place.
