LyraLover permabanned - Lurker - 10-09-2015

After repeatedly harassing Taxman, despite multiple warnings, and even a temporary ban, it's been decided that this latest infraction warrants a permanent ban. Whether it's reversed in the future depends largely on his behavior from now on.

This consequence does not carry over to the Skype chats.

It's kinda strange to info us about something I really didn't expect you guys... bother sharing. I wonder why the turn of events, or will it be one of those few times you guys feel like telling us.

On another note! It's still sad people still bash on the poor guy. You guys calling him a loon, or keep on finding a way to mark him as a bad person in pubic.

It is not the fact that it was on MLW but the fact that it extended from MLW, to Skype, to other forums and took on a personal crusade of sorts to harass, further ostracize, and show generally poor behavior, including but not limited to attempting to release personal information. This behavior is not to be tolerated from any member as it reflects poorly upon the whole of our community and he was warned about it as such, he continued to go against this warning and action was taken.

What Star said.

As for the whole thing Sour said, staff actions are supposed to be discussed by staff in the staff zone and also made known to the public here. For future reference, all staff should keep the community informed of staff actions here; communication is important in a community of any size.

I've been kept in the loop of LyraLover's actions and I agree with Star and Lurker here. Releasing another person's personal information, and in general LyraLover's actions, are held under the same scrutiny as harassment and can be prosecuted as such by the law. It looks bad on all of us for one of us to be actively engaging in something that harms another human being, especially considering most already see us as misanthropic to begin with.

I believe that when I stop hating you! XD Which I will if you guys happen to do that.

Silliness me: This site doesn't need some attention from the other admins, why some flowers here and there will be nice, even though some of us made this site to be in "space".

RE: LyraLover permabanned - D.Va - 10-09-2015

Let me say this once and for all: leave Taxman alone.

Yes everyone has beef with him and we all dislike him, but for god's sake just leave him alone. He hasn't caused us much trouble since Waifu Central started up. Leave him alone.

Any further harassment by other members will result in punishment.

You reminded me of this guy Dragonus... Lol! Since all he said in his video was was to leave Britney alone.

As for another silliness from me.

But this image is invalid, since Taxman isn't a child. But place it for sh*t and giggles.

Can I continue to harass other people? Will I be banned if I harass Britney Spears?

Something I failed to address sooner:

So a "permanent" ban is potentially impermanent. Hmm...

Sounds relatively forgiving, given the nature of some other forums where they dole out bans as though they were DEATH. Something from whence no mortal member may return.

I can't really say that I can agree with this decision. If it was something that happened on this site, that's one thing. But no one has the right to police our policies on the internet as a whole. I may not have gotten along all that great with LyraLover that much, but banning someone for an off-site occurrence is wrong, and is something I've always considered an abuse of power. This isn't the first time I've seen something like this happen and I had the same opinion then add I do now. This is very wrong, and should not have happened. Anything that happened outside of or Skype group or off of this site, we have no right to enforce
