Sometimes it's really hard to know there's a whole group of people out there who will judge me without knowing me and see as a disgusting, less than human freak.

It doesn't sound like you want to get in to details, so I won't pry. Instead, accept my condolences, and at the risk of sounding cliche: fuck the haters. It's said that the best way to convert someone to your cause is to give them a target which they can feel righteous about attacking. The normans are just throwing those stones at us because we're socially-acceptable targets, so they can bond over their rejection of the different. So much for the rhetoric of tolerance and open-mindedness which gets bandied about in the west these days. So much for the people who like to think they're progressive and non judgemental.
Sure, you probably know this, but just maybe hearing it from someone else will help anyway. Nightmare doesn't think you're a freak, and from what I currently know, neither do I.
