I just deleted a nice post from my journal because nobody reacted to it for a week and that was really bothering me.

I can tell you that's something people have felt before here too.

The best thing that can be done in that regard is to I think spread those same feelings to others. I think what helps others feel more encouraged to write something is when they know others are responding to what they wrote. Not an idea of "you did this for me, so I'll do it for you" it's more so the fact that helping contribute to an environment where people realize how other people care. But if everyone feels like no one is reading what they're doing, then no one will respond to anything. So the best thing to do is to post more for others.

But if everyone is asking why no one is responding to them, and they stop writing, that's going to just create a bit of a loop.

Not directed towards you in particular about anything, just a very general PSA.

7, I read your journal. I thought your entry was one that didn't really ask for feedback. I don't mean deliberately, but it seemed like you said all htat you needed to say. That you were airing your thoughts, not asking for ours in turn. It was just the feeling I got from it. Kaltes is also very right when he says:

Because I can tell you, I've felt like that with a lot of posts here. I feel like my words, if I respond too flippantly (or seemingly so), or if I try to share my own experiences or feelings - in an attempt to relate, not to one-up - that I will be seen as insincere, or as someone who is only posting to drive up their count, or some other erroneous thing.

Yet again Rares not only beats me to the punch but knocks it out of the park.

I noticed it browsing your Art for Me thread. What does it mean? Rammenstein lyrics, perhaps?

Correct. Specifically from their song Du Riechst So Gut.

The lyrics in my signature itself means "Insanity is only a narrow bridge."

I really don't like summer. It's simply way too warm for my taste.
You didn't drink enough for today? have a headache!
You couldn't shower today? Sweat like a disgusting waterfall for all of eternity!
You're walking barefoot? Get stung by a bee!
Spend 10 minutes mowing the lawn? Turn into a crab!

Can I spend the summer in Norway or something?

Heh, I feel the same way. I'm much more of a winter person myself. Generally i can't stand when the outside temp is much over 80 F(about 26 C for you non burgers) with a few exceptions.

This is why, imho, Autumn is the best season. Summer's too hot, Winter's too cold, Spring is too wet, too buggy, and too alergey-y. When I lived in Florida, I preferred winter, because, winter there is pretty mild, and every other season is hot, but doesn't it get pretty frigid where you are?

I assume you mean me? it's frequently bellow freezing and it'll get really cold sometimes(I've seen it get to -15 F around here a few times), but I guess I'm the rare exception in that it doesn't bother me.

if you mean me, probably yes, but that depends on how you define "frigid"
When you live in Florida, your version of frigid is probably quite a bit higher than what we would call frigid.
