Hot Rod (2007).

One of my all time favorite comedies.

We last saw Zootopia. It was good; we enjoyed it. Judy was cute. Hippity hop, and the butt don't stop. Why? xD You know why. Rabbit butt. I'm never going to win one of these exchanges lol.

The Night of the Hunter (1955).

An outstanding film, it lived up to its reputation.

I sat through the Warcaft movie a little while ago and despite my expectations being a little low, I loved the movie! I thought it was heaps of fun and I loved the way the characters were portrayed. Having played Warcraft games for almost ten years now, I think the movie fits in well within the franchise, and I'm looking forward to the inevitable sequel!

Big Trouble in Little China (1986).

Commando (1985).

An action movie classic.

Terminator 2 was on the TV last night. It was the first time I'd seen it since the 90's maybe, and watching it as a kid I never got how completely fucking nuts Sarah Connor really was. The change from who she is in Terminator, vs. who she has become by the time of T2 is astonishing, and frankly, not adequately explained in my opinion

I must say, both the story, and surprisingly, the special effects held up pretty well. It's still a good movie, with an absolutely horrifying adversary in the T-1000. I also love how they managed to turn the merciless, implacable, force-of-nature T-800 from the first movie in to a sympathetic character.

Also, comparing the world I see in the movie with the world I saw last time I was in SoCal drives home how little changes really add up over time. Smoking in public buildings? Those enormous, boxy land-boats they dare call cars? Computers with giant, monochrome CRT monitors? English being spoken in LA? It's kind of surreal.

Funny, we both watched an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie on the same day.
