RE: What really grinds your gears? - Rares - 12-15-2016 I'm actually really upset right now. I was supposed to have big, very personal plans this weekend, because originally I was finally supposed to be alone. Now they had to get cancelled because my roommate changed his plans and is staying. Why? Because he lazily slept in and missed an exam. There's nothing like having high hopes of doing something and getting them cancelled. Sorry for the vent, I'm a bit agitated. RE: What really grinds your gears? - Rares - 12-17-2016 Being in a decent mood, but then coming across a comic that really abuses her and treats her awful because the author finds it "funny". Could have gone the rest of my day without seeing that. Aw that sucks RE: What really grinds your gears? - 7bloom - 12-17-2016 (12-17-2016, 06:42 AM)Rares Wrote: Being in a decent mood, but then coming across a comic that really abuses her and treats her awful because the author finds it "funny". If it was meant to be invoke sympathy, that'd be one thing, but when I read the comments and see the artist and his fans laughing it up and saying it's hilarious, that can easily provide me with an hour or two of brooding, but that usually leads to me feeling better, from focusing on her and actually spending time with her to remember that she's still safe and happy, and that none of those other guys can change that. So bad things like that aren't for nothing, at least. |
