RE: Forcing Journal - Shadow Step - 08-02-2015 Failed to meditate yesterday, my father didn't have work and because he works nights her was up very early and was rather in the way. Barely managed to even get relaxed today as my Dad's girlfriend had work early this morning. I got sat down, started deep breathing to relax, and then a nice klaxon goes off from her cell phone to wake her up. RE: Forcing Journal - Shadow Step - 08-04-2015 Got a decent forcing session on Monday, but nothing special came of it really. And today I tried many times, for over an hour, for even a glimmer of visual imposition. Nothing. RE: Forcing Journal - Sour Soul - 08-05-2015 While it's nice to know you're trying, how about a little insight of what going on. X) Maybe like what you have been doing with.. Inkie? Is it just Inkie you're focusing on? :o Or you could have Inkie to place her thoughts here... To me and maybe others, it will be interesting. No? :D Why just having Inkie eating a sandwich with you is good enough and special. X) This isn't really a relationship journal where I talk about the day to day with the girls, this is where I post meditation attempts, what happens that's out of the ordinary with them, and generally get advice from people about how to meditate more efficiently or different things to try. On that note, managed a twenty minute session with three out of four mares. I think I'm going to start incorporating all of them into the sessions to lengthen the amount of time I spend. Twenty minutes to talk to three might be 25 for all four plus who knows how long for visualization. D: RE: Forcing Journal - Shadow Step - 08-07-2015 Didn't manage to get anything today. College is right around the corner which means I have to sleep during the night again, which limits the amount of time I have with quiet and alone. Repeat this for the last two days, plus my father had his weekly day off, which meant I couldn't force in the mornings either. It looks like today will be another no go day as well because it seems his girlfriend has the day off today. RE: Forcing Journal - Shadow Step - 08-12-2015 Didn't force yesterday due to a hard hitting migraine. By the time it ceased I had to make dinner and head to bed. My time being limited by the approach of college in less than a week now is going to make this more difficult than ever. RE: Forcing Journal - StableRelationship - 08-16-2015 I know you said you don't have many alternatives for meditation, but have you ever tried meditating in bed before you go to sleep? I find that works well for me, and it gives me the added bonus of privacy in my own room. Alternatively, do you have any nature reserves or bushland near where you live? That could also work if you find a quiet area. XD I have issues with focusing while I'm awake, even on everyday tasks. Unless I'm feeling very restless odds are I'll doze off before Inkie finishes telling me her day. |
