I used to be pretty careful about what content I put online. Careful verging on distrustful, cynical, and paranoid. xD That wasn't particularly fun. I won't be doling out really sensitive material willy-nilly or anything, but I don't care about someone from this community knowing my real name or what I look like. And if someone from outside this community has a problem with the sort of things I share at Central, that's entirely their problem.

A lot of people behave as though their misguided disapproval is supposed to matter to what are probably complete strangers on the internet. Why? Why is their opinion important? Because they think it is? Most who would disparage us would probably do so while hiding behind anonymity, anyhow. I'm not a brave man by most definitions, but I recognize that as cowardice. Wanting to keep your personal life private? Perfectly fine. Crapping on someone because they don't live up to your arbitrary, close-minded standards? Nonsense. And a waste of my time.

I'm not saying I won't sometimes get mad. I'm not claiming to be some unshakable stoic type; I'm only human. But, from an entirely rational perspective... Some people should just go f*** themselves. *Shrugs.*
