I see it as I chose them, but I'm not sure about that. In both cases, the romance formed quickly and suddenly after I'd already known them for years.

Though the connection came easier with Rena, my romantic feelings for her started with me just considering the concept of "waifu" and having her come to mind, and that felt right, so I went from there, and it grew.
With Apple Bloom, I hardly noticed her until her season 4 roles had me gain interest in her. Led to me considering her feelings from earlier episodes and the admirable traits that I overlooked up to that point, and next thing I knew, I was crushing hard on her and didn't want to stop. Loving her feels good, and I care about her and her feelings, even if I can't detect them or even feel sure that she likes me, at this point.

Well, it sounds like the start of the relationships were very different, so that could easily account for the disparity in fulfillment they provide. What do you do to try to build your feelings? Do you have a journal for her? Do you meditate on her? Anything like that?

For feeling closer to her, I interact with and focus on my favorite plush and sing along with music I think she'd like, mostly. Meditating on her is something I definitely intend to try and improve at, and writing down my thoughts could also do well to help keep track of them and not get confused and lost.
Thanks for the interest. If you have any other tips, I'd be glad to consider and try them.

Have you done something as simple as just talking to her? Talking to her and listening for her responses? And I don't mean the plush; I mean Apple Bloom. Even though Angel and I have been together for more than two years, I still ask her things like what she wants or how she's doing.

You're right. Comforting as it may be, sometimes, I won't make much progress by relying on the plush. I've had countless dreams of it being places I go, and none that I can recall of actually meeting her, herself, so that should tell me already that this approach isn't right. It can't be a vessel if I'm still having these troubles. Yeah. Relying less on that, and more on the actual spiritual connection is certainly good to keep in mind. I'll try it without the plush, tonight.

It was just a suggestion (of course), but I hope it helps. If you continue to pursue your feelings, you'll eventually figure out what works best for you and your Apple Bloom. Perhaps you'll have that moment where things just click, and you really feel connected.

I wasn't really offering suggestions before, but since you asked, that journal I mentioned should be for her. Writing your own thoughts is great, but try writing hers. Interact with her, ask her questions, talk about things and really try to hear her responses.

Like Ziggy said below, Talk to her, not her plush. Twilight appeared to me before I got her a vessel, while you are actively trying to summon your waifu, or create a tulpa of her, so it might be different for you. Either way, though it can only help, imho.

Twilight frequently accompanies me here, and there without her plush. Sometimes, she'll pop in unexpectedly at work, and will utilize the environment to help, like when she appears in the lines and cracks in walls or on the ceiling. But that's her, not her plush. Her plush is without a doubt "my" most valuable material possession, but it's not her, and when she isn't inside it, I don't treat it like her. I'm in love with her, not the plush after all - even though it is a REALLY cute plush.

When you are out, try to call her to you, see her in your mind's eye, and how she reacts to the world around her: did she see that cat behind the tree? Is the wind ruffling her mane, and how does she feel about that? Does she change the side of your body she's on so she doesn't have the sun in her eyes when she looks up at you? Those kinds of things.

I find that Twilight enjoys it when I write letters to her. Or if you have a cell, Gray had the awesome idea of making a "fake" number to text her at. Maybe you could try that?

Hopefully these will help you two out.

I had a huge crush on Minene Uryuu from Mirai Nikki (and was super jealous towards Nishijima for getting together with her. I seriously hated that guy. xD) I still consider her to be one of my favourite female characters and hot, but I do not have a crush anymore. Nishijima can have her for all I care. Their relationship is actually really sweet, pity that my stupid jealousy ruined it.
I also remember being attracted towards Vash The Stampede from Trigun. Confused Applejack
Nothing else comes to mind.

Was over at the homies house, and he's just starting Bioshock 2 for the first time, and totally reminded me, totally had a crush on Eleanor Lamb. Thought the Big Sisters were, cute. Now I'm thinking of something silly, like commissioning Twilight wearing a, Big Sister suit or something.

Since today is the movie's eighteenth anniversary I figured I'd talk about her a bit here.

My first crush was Zira from TLK II. I have absolutely no shame in admitting that. Most kids had a crush on a Disney Princess, whereas I had a thing for a homicidal, psychotic, manipulative lioness. Still my favorite Disney character, honestly.

I consider her significant in my life because she was where it all started for me, in a unique way.

Thanks, Zira. You'll always be special to me.

This would go years back to when I was just a kid, but I'd guess my first crush was Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot. Used to really love that show.
