RE: Forcing Journal - Shadow Step - 08-18-2015 Today college went back into session and, as predicted, I'm in incredible pain from terrible school desks. Waking up at 7am to be to class at 9am and not being done til 2pm sucks horribly. I now get to try and juggle a social life, homework, attempting a D&D campaign, and meditation. I find that works well for me, and it gives me the added bonus of privacy in my own room. Alternatively, do you have any nature reserves or bushland near where you live? That could also work if you find a quiet area. Do you keep a written schedule? From what I've read, it seems that a written schedule (like, physically written with your own hand) can make you more likely to stick to doing thing. Having definite times for things such as homework, meditation, etc. might make juggling itself less of a stressful thing. It may perhaps be useful to give it a try. I wake up at six to get a shower, do the daily hygiene stuffs, call a cab around 7am, 10-20 minutes for it to arrive, five minute trip to school, social clubs and classes all day, home around 3pm, homework until it's done (takes usually 3+ hours) it's around 7 due to various homework interruptions, dinner, Skype chats, 9pm SHOULD be bed time, but my sleep pattern is all fucked up again. It's more that my time can not be managed due to too many X variables. It can take the cab that picks me up 10 minutes one day, and then 30 the next. Homework might not exist one day, or it might be a 10 page paper, 3 chapters of algebra, and read a book by the next class session. Same with class time and my club stuff. Sometimes I get to college and none of the club is around, perfect meditation time. Sometimes there's so many people I want to chat with I miss classes. I know you don't want to get up earlier, but could you spare around 10 minutes? I only meditate for around 10 minutes a day, but even that relaxes me pretty well. It takes me about that long to relax. That's before trying to sustain 4 mares. RE: Forcing Journal - Sour Soul - 08-21-2015 (08-21-2015, 08:30 AM)Shadow Step Wrote: ...trying to sustain 4 mares. That's a lot of ponies dude. Do you believe you can satisfy them, as well as yourself at the same time? Amena and I don't want you to overdo it now. :o RE: Forcing Journal - Shadow Step - 08-21-2015 (08-21-2015, 08:42 AM)Sour Soul Wrote:(08-21-2015, 08:30 AM)Shadow Step Wrote: ...trying to sustain 4 mares. I fail daily. RE: Forcing Journal - Shadow Step - 08-23-2015 I have noticed over time that if my mares introduce me to somepony from their world that pony is just as imposed as they are, however limited that may be for me at the moment. With virtually no work Inkie walked in with her sister Limestone and I had voice, presence, demeanor, everything that I know about the others, without having thought of her.
