Well, it's been a while...but I think in all it must've cost close to $1,500 or so. I hired a contractor to install the in-ceiling speakers, they accidentally added one too many holes in my ceiling, but luckily their insurance covered getting that fixed. I think this was like 6-7 years ago now...

I bought the whole thing over the course of a year. Systems like this are perfect for slowly standing up, since all you really need is one speaker and the amp

I see a lot of people use the 558s, how are they ?

I love them, sound quality is pretty good, they're pretty cheap now, they're built well, easy to clean, and VERY comfortable.

I'd highly suggest getting a pair.
