I never saw the use in making one either, since I'm always myself, albeit with a few...refinements, when I fantasize about being with her. I finally ended up doing so because of a user on this board, and am glad I did. She doesn't get used much, but it's convenient to have a ready made representation for commissions or whatever. If you're going to Bronycon, it might be nice to have one to draw, or have drawn on your badge?
Eh, I don't know. I think the big problem I'd have is coming up with a pony that I'd feel accurately represents me. If I was going to get commisions of my OC done with Starlight I'd really need to feel like it was a pony version of me or else I just wouldn't feel comfortable with it. I know I'm putting too much thought into this but hopefully you understand what I mean.

Yeah, absolutely. But never say never.

I know exactly how you feel, it's why I never felt the need to make one. Personally I would have trouble seeing myself in an OC no matter how well designed after me it is.

I share that reluctance of the Glimlovers. I have to be careful with such things and not do anything that would make me feel that she doesn't exclusively love me, really me. If I wouldn't see it as really myself, I could see this making things worse rather than better. I understand the feeling to push one to make one too, though, which is why I've thought about this a lot. When I remember the shipping art where she looks so happy with someone else, and think about how I can't figure out a good way to have art of her with me like that, it could make me feel sad and discouraged, to put it simply. I'd love to be able to visually see her with me like that, happy and comfortable, loved and loving. But I still choose to, at the moment, play it safer. Maybe once I'm more comfortable in things, I could think more on that. It does make me happy to think about still, if I could have that kind of normal life with her that I described.

I didn't believe in this in the past, and thought that I need to do all I can to be as satisfied with possible with the assumption that this is all I'm getting, with its limitations. I still to some extent feel that way, that letting hope for the future prevent me from making fulfillment now is something to worry about. I don't know if that thought makes sense, but it's a lot to think about. But since a month or two ago where I'd feel Apple Bloom stopping me from indulging in bad thoughts, saying I'd never meet her in that way became less doable. I have some faith that I'll be able to have that with her, I think, in the end. At that point, though, I don't know if I'd want a restart from childhood with her rather than continuing what I've formed over the years of my life. Maybe it could be a mix of both, somehow.

It could, but there's no reason that it must.

who knows how things will turn out.. as for me.. well I personally like to believe that as a christian I know where i am going after this life, and as for Luna and tia... well both of them are christian in the equestria universe that i have been to. though there Jesus was an earthpony instead of human lol. my personal take on it is that he went to all universes, and all worlds, even alien ones, or atleast alien to us. the way I see it, is that even though I couldn't marry someone from equestria because i feel God would have a problem with the whole interspecies thing, I dont believe that rule applies to more than marriage and sex, so pretty much unconditional love and adopting an equine family from another universe is no different than accepting a human of different nationality or color as a brother when you become strong as friends. either way, this topic interests me and I look forward to atleast getting to call both the girls sister even on the other side. on the off chance that such isnt possible for whatever reason, then i will damn sure spoil them, as well as the rest of my equine family, with all the love i can right now
