RE: What really grinds your gears? - Gray - 06-28-2016 When fucking family members throw MY dead RECHARGEABLE batteries in the trash, because they're fucking DEAD RE: What really grinds your gears? - NightHorse666 - 06-28-2016 When Zuckerberg censors my flaming goose meme RE: What really grinds your gears? - Kaltes-Herzeleid - 07-02-2016 Feeling like I've lost so many friends and all the new people who watch me not even being remotely interested in a single goddamn thing I say. Seriously, what's the point of watching someone if you don't even don't even care what they write? RE: What really grinds your gears? - Gray - 07-04-2016 Every bump in the road, every SNAFU, everything that fucks up and goes wrong is my fault, until proven otherwise. Seriously, what's the point of watching someone if you don't even don't even care what they write? You're a fairly prolific writer, Kaltes; some people probably don't have the time on their hands to read, fave, or comment. But I hope you're looking at views, because several of your written works garner more views than many of my drawings - and in a fraction of the time. Even your more recent pieces already have more views than drawings I submitted five months ago. You've been a "deviant" for 2 years, and I've been one for nine. You have over 80k views, and I have only 18k. I realize this is the "complain about things" thread, but, put in perspective, you've gotten a hell of a lot more attention, appreciation, and - concerning your love (which matters the most) - understanding. More than most probably do on dA; short of being outrageously talented artists. Oh, and even if half of your watchers were DEAD, you'd *still* have more than I have. Half the battle on dA seems to be just plain getting noticed; you've done that. You would mention writing, and wanting feedback for it, but I couldn't find any threads here that you seemed to be talking about. I assumed that you would have a link button like Ziggy and I do for our DAs, if you had one. I thought you might be talking about a fanfiction site, or pastebin or something. Well, now Ziggy's comment drove me to search, and there you are. Holy Toledo, you really do have a lot of stuff to peruse! I look forward to it, as time permits. Speaking of other's perspectives and not your own, I hope. Just remember you-know-who, and smile. Honestly when I posted this, overall I was more upset at the fact several of my close friends, people who I've been friends with for years have basically all but left now. Yes I understand the concept of life outside the internet but it still doesn't change the fact it stings that I feel like I've lost them and there's no indication they'll ever come back, at least not anytime soon. Some of my best and closest friends (and I mean in all my life) are individuals I've never met in person. I'm sorry that's happening; or seems to be. But sometimes people you thought were out of your life will reappear unexpectedly; had that occur with someone I hadn't heard from since high school. RE: What really grinds your gears? - Pacifist - 07-06-2016 Roleplayers that pull things out of their ass that are impossible for the character to actually do. I'm pretty quick at spotting their attempts to derail the story and setting it right through in-story logic. |
