Crossing Water, Air, or Land - Sour Soul - 09-24-2015 If you could just travel with your love one(s), which way would you go? Would you go with them by air? Be in a air balloon together, piloting a small plane together, or even on your own. (This one is for our Pegasus who can fly, or even believe the use of magic.) How about the crossing a lake, river, or even out at sea You could both go on a raft together, a row boat, a cruse line, . or heck a Pokémon, like a Lapras. What way will you and your Beloved(s) travel? If possible, can you describe how would it be like? Or even shared past experience you two had rode together. Also, they might be some who prefer solid ground, and that's alright. So if you had a way to travel that way, will it be piggy backing your lover(s), riding across the country in a train maybe, or a carriage. Any transportation is fine onto this thread. Also, make sure you both aren't afraid of deep deep water, or even heights folks. RE: Crossing Water, Air, or Land - IceStorm - 09-24-2015 Ice and I have traveled together many times, mainly on our trips to Bronycon, and we always fly because that's the cheapest route we can take, but we would love to be able to go on a cruise or something together, maybe on of the Alaskan cruises where it takes us up to see the Glaciers and the like up north. I just know that she would love that. RE: Crossing Water, Air, or Land - amatscintilla - 09-24-2015 While I do love to fly (and on a recent flight to Denver I was accompanied by Twi for some of it), my passion is driving. You get to see and experience so much more when you drive. In fact, on the aforementioned trip, most of it was actually spent driving lol. I drove in a large loop from Denver to Regina, SK, to Winnipeg, MB, to Rapid City, SD, back to Denver in the span of 5 days. Though a lot of the landscape in that part of the world (outside Denver and Rapid City, of course) is pretty plain, there are some awesome things to see. And since I had been part of that way before, my gf and I got to re-visit some stuff from prior trips (and I got to show some of it to Twi for the first time). Water is okay, but it's always so slow and usually monotonous. RE: Crossing Water, Air, or Land - Star Swift - 09-25-2015 All things Air for the both of us is preferred. Things have been very fortunate for us in that matter as well, as we have had the chance to Travel the globe here and have done so by air. We have been on one Cruise together though about two years ago now which was rather enjoyable (and not my personal first) but was our first together. That said there is also something to be said for taking the convertible out and just enjoying a relaxing drive with the top down and some good music playing just us and thwe road. Though fairly often we do go flying together just us.. |
