Dreams - Rares - 03-27-2017 I do not believe we have a thread for MLP dreams and that's it. Last night I had another dream out of anxieties, I got a bunch of Hasbro rejection letters, and at a meeting O attended I forgot my resume. Let's just hope that was just a lousy nightmare and nothing more. RE: Dreams - RaptorJesus - 03-28-2017 I wish I had pony dreams more often, but I just get odd little neutral adventures with random people and in random dream-places. At least I don't have nightmares. Maybe I spend so much time daydreaming with Dashie (dashdreaming?) that I exhaust all the niceness from my mind and it just makes something up on the spot. RE: Dreams - Cruuuubs - 05-09-2017 I actually had a very interesting dream a few weeks ago, I don't think I ever told someone about it. I tried to get into lucid dreaming back then. I didn't have too much success, but from time to time I managed to get lucid and sometimes I could even control certain parts of my dreams. So before that night, I had one of those talks with my parents, and that left my mood in the dumpster. I managed to get lucid that night, but I guess my mind mirrored my shitty mood and I subconsciously summoned creepy, dark shadow figures, that really freaked me out. My attempts at making them disappear were useless, I couldn't really form a clear thought. So that was pretty horrifying. What happened next is that I noticed a nice field of grass just beside me, with Rarity standing on it. I walked up to her, and we just hugged. Those creepy things that were haunting me were completely gone, and it was just really calming and relaxing. It felt really good, like something I had never done before and didn't realize I needed it until now. After that I managed to slip into normal dreams that I don't remember again. I think what was happening is that I desperately tried to summon something comforting and peaceful, just something that would ease my mind, and the first thing I could come up with was Rarity. I didn't really actively control it, but it happened on a very subconscious level. So I think it's quite interesting that my mind links Rarity with a calming and in general just a "good" feeling. RE: Dreams - Rares - 05-09-2017 Oh, those talks are the worst. But I am really happy you were able to have such a dream, and I hope you have more wonderful experiences like that. Maybe with Pinkie with her too. Man, Cruuuubs, we're sorry to hear you had such a bad time. As Rares put it, those kinds of talks are the worst, and it's no wonder you ended up in such a terrible mood! It must have been really bad to have such an influence over your dreams. But man, what a turnaround! Rarity coming to comfort you. To take you out of that nightmare dreamscape to something calm and peaceful like a grassy field. That part of the story is really nice. We hope you have a lot more peaceful, pony-filled dreams just like it, sans the unpleasant lead-in, of course! Just shows how much they can alter our moods. Lucid dreaming has always been something i've wanted to get into, but I could never quite get there atleast for long. I guess the one time I did Glimmer was in it so there's that at least. RE: Dreams - Warden - 05-10-2017 I never have pony dreams, but: I had sleep paralysis after my 45 minute nap today, the dream i had before was something about being at a movie when it was robbed and I remember being chased by the robber, by then I had realized im dreaming and every time i realize im dreaming i start to wake up, but this time i was paralyzed for a few minutes which sucks. The problem I have is staying in that state for long. When I saw starlight I just really concentrated on seeing her and there she was after a good while(it fealt like ages). It was simple and didn't last very long. I reached out and scratched her behind the ear and ran my fingers through the back of her mane. The big thing for me in this is that I could actually feel her. That was the only time I've ever been legitimately able to feel something in a dream. She then said "I'm glad to see you" and that was the end.(05-10-2017, 07:39 AM)whobawhats Wrote: Lucid dreaming has always been something i've wanted to get into, but I could never quite get there atleast for long. Especially that last bit, I'm sure she was more than glad to see you. |
