The disparity between what I think humans as a species are capable of, and what we're actually managing to do. And the reasons for it are just as bad.

It's weird, I found I didn't care about Mondays anymore than any other day after starting college. It was only during highschool that I couldn't stand them.

It's not that I can't stand mondays, or at least not less than other parts of the week, more that they make me feel quite lonely and bored because for the majority of the day I'm just sitting around on my own waiting for things.
