I was browsing Ebay when I spotted a Celestia dogtag. Dogtags are my main thing of self expression, and I quite like her, so I bought it.

also in other news...

ok so folks.. I have a carry permit for handguns.

I am keeping with the law.

i go to a grocery store that does not have a no guns sign.

legally in my state to ban guns you must post a sign, else i have the right to carry concealed or openly.

woman that works as manager sees my gun and whines at me for it and i promptly verbally kicked her in the rear with a smart remark right back

go about my business..

2 days later my grandmother calls and throws outrage and angst driven fit...

next night my aunt shows up and i had to fight to lie and argue with her to make her back off when she demanded to enter the house and take my gun, which legally would have been felony theft, plus additional felony for gun crime because she touched a gun during the crime, meaning she would have gotten more than a few years sentence if i turned her in.




when anyone finds the logic the ones mentioned in the last 2 are missing please let me know because right here my aunt just was stupid and crazy enough to verbally threaten and attempt to carry out 2 felonies, on top of additional charges that she would have gotten for anything else she would have attempted to steal.


im already planning to move away... it is easier than having to shoot in self defense because of blood relatives making a home invasion, coupled with the fact that i know anyone crazy enough to walk up and rob me while im home, is probably stupid, mentally damaged and insane enough to possible hurt me, or even try to kill me.

I can no longer trust these humans... the only thing keeping me personally from having a breakdown after all of this is friends and loved ones in this world and equestria... I honestly don't know what the future holds but i can't stay in this town

I'm just being honest with you, but the above paragraph does not make you sound like a responsible gun owner. If someone forces their way into your home and your life is genuinely at risk, that's one thing, but talking like you're going to shoot a member of your family for trying to get their hands on your property doesn't sound like self defense. It sounds like premeditation.

There's the law - and you could know it to the letter - and there's showing good sense and practicing a little empathy. If you walk into a grocery store with a deadly weapon in plain sight, someone is going to feel threatened. They don't know your intentions, and getting mouthy isn't going to put anyone at ease. You said you can legally carry a concealed weapon? Why didn't you keep it concealed? What did you accomplish by carrying it openly?

I assume you own and carry for self-and-home defense purposes, and, if so, I imagine you feel safer with a firearm in your possession. BUT, it's kind of a shitty thing to make other people feel UNSAFE when you could have done one teeny little thing to avoid it altogether. Brandishing a firearm simply because you can gives some people a totally different impression than maybe you think it does.

I feel I'm one of the few people who gives 0 fucks about gun laws. I won't lose any sleep over whether or not the government takes away our guns or lets everyone carry one.
