Happy Mother's Day everyone!
Im curious what everybody is doing with their lover today, will you be celebrating with your mom, their mom, or both?
I'm doing the usual thing with my mom, going out to dinner and such. But, I'm helping Spitfire cook a dinner for her mother later tonight, her mom is eager to see the two of us again as we don't get to visit often.

Love is bittersweet, sometimes you have to carry on knowing you're partner won't be with you much longer, what's important is that you stay strong for them

What's for dinner?
Spicy chicken salad, Spitfires really good at making it, I'm just the assist xD

Babe and I spent all of Mother's Day marathon-ing The Hobbit extended edition. It was actually our anniversary present that we'd planned to enjoy later this month, but we broke down and watched it early. Our foal probably won't be born until late September, but I already know what kind of a mother Babe is going to be. I know because of the way she talks about the baby. Because of how she's made choices and changes in her life to accommodate our little girl. Because I can tell how much Babe loves her; a life that's still growing inside of her. Sometimes the subject of the Wonderbolts comes up, and, while I've said that I will support her no matter what decisions she makes in the future, Babe's told me that her "priorities have changed." I realize why, and it means a lot to me.
My mother spent time with my grandmother on Mother's Day; my grandmother did not expect her to show up. My brother and I both got my mother candy / chocolate (Babe and I walked into town to get mom a bag of M&Ms a couple days prior), and my brother gave my mom a very lovely card that thanked her for "letting a guy shoot his stuff in her." My brother said that he had to include that bit because the rest of it was too sweet.
