E3 just concluded, and with it a whole slew of announcements. Which one got you interested ? Personally, I was quite attracted to Steep, as well as the new Division stuff.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Nintendo, and an even bigger fan of the The Legend of Zelda series, so naturally, I freaking loved their segment! It looks like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is going to have everything I was hoping for in a new Zelda game and much more, so I'm really looking forward to its eventual release! I'm probably going to preorder it for the Wii U.
As far as the NX is concerned, not a whole lot of information has been released on the system, but based on what Reggie's said in an interview, I'm worried for Nintendo's sake that it won't sell extremely well. The way he was selling it reminded me so much of what he said about the Wii U a few years back, that Nintendo isn't too focused on the power of the system, but more so the games. While I love their consoles regardless, having them be a generation behind in hardware is going to seriously limit third party game developers in what can be ported. They're chasing the ghost of the Wii, and I don't think that's the smartest business move. That being said, I love Mario. I love Zelda. Of course I'm going to buy the NX! Aside from all that, I didn't watch any of the other segments.

Battlefield 1 looks hella generic and it looks like CoD may finally be dying.
But they teased a new Wolfenstein game and a new Quake game is in the works!

Even if it ends up being the last home console from Nintendo, I still want to own it if only for first party titles. "That's the problem with you Nintendo fans! You only buy the systems for first party software!" That's the only place I can get Nintendo games. And I tried supporting 3rd party on the Wii U, but it seemed like no one else did. I can't buy games for a platform if they aren't available for it. But I've barely seen anything of E3; I kind of just didn't care. I'll get the new Zelda on either Wii U or NX at some point, but I didn't need to see game play in order to make that decision.

Tbh Battlefield has usually looked generic (kind of why people may not be so attracted to it). Also, the whole "world war one" theme also kind of limits what the game can do. But yes, CoD's gameplay really confused me. If I had not known it was a CoD game I would have thought of it to be some new Sci-Fi franchise. Thank god for a new Quake though !

I loathe EA and I find most Battlefield games boring, but I like the fact that at least one major shooter FINALLY decided to go in the direction of WW1. It'll certainly prove interesting, and if I got the cash by the time it's out, fuck it, I'll buy it. [/quote] Oh no I am not saying that it's bad that it's going down the direction of World War 1- I love that they are doing that. I meant that with the tech existing at that time it may limit certain gameplay mechanics. Though this is DICE, so they will find some way.

If you think sitting around in trenches, dying in no man's land, and having the most basic guns is fun, then Battlefield 1 is the perfect game for you.

I don't think you had seen the gameplay before. But it's far from that. Actually people are kind of hoping such of what you had said would also be in the game. There will be servers for that definitely. |
