Stan Getz and Dizzy Gillespie were such an unbeatable pair. Such contrasting styles, yet out of what I've heard, I'd say they melded together even more beautifully than Gillespie and Parker's!
Not to knock Gillespie and Parker playing together seeing as they pretty much, you know, INVENTED the bebop language on the horn.

This is definitely one of Frank Teschemacher's definitive statements. When he comes in for the first solo break...well, I don't think I've heard a more unrestrained clarinet style. No finesse, just raw power, and it's AMAZING. I still think he might have presaged the sainted Albert Ayler's overblowing techniques...
