I think that's become the case with a lot of holidays, they just seem to be marketted, and when the day comes it just feels like another day.

Rari however adores Hearthswarming, she loves giving to others, abd while she tends to give all the time, it gets dialed up to 11 then. I think it's the atomsphere which she loves, so I enjoy it for her.

My phone, for whatever reason, loves to correct "and" to "abd" all the time. Unsure Sweetie

I kinda miss the 2000s. Not in a "desperately pining to go back to the past" kind of way. I know every decade has its share of utter shit, and believe me I saw quite a bit in the 2000s...but I can't help but look at today and see a staggering, and very unpleasant difference.

Yes. This must be how it feels to get old. Rose-colored glasses aren't a good thing to use regularly, but I swear things were simpler then, if not better. So much has changed, and not in good ways.

Every possession and every happiness is but lent by chance for an uncertain time, and may therefore be demanded back the next hour.

I agree, I definitely don't think saying "things were better" is just a case of a nostalgia filter on its own. There are cases where it is in fact applicable. I think when it becomes a problem is when you spend too much time thinking about the past.

99% dark chocolate doesn't even really taste like chocolate. It's so intense! It's like pure cacao.

Although, it tastes all right with tea. Nerdy Twist

Dark chocolate is magnificent. White and milk have their places, but when it comes to chocolate, darker is better...up to a point, at least. The strongest I've ever seen is 90%, where do you even find 99%? Are you actually supposed to eat it like that? Maybe you should try mixing it with some heavy cream in your tea? Mmmmmm chocolate milk tea.

There's a Lindt store around, and that's where I first discovered it. Up until very recently, I didn't even realise 99% dark chocolate even existed!
