Movies just watched - Theatre V1
I saw a French movie called "Daddy or Mommy" and I must say, that was one of the most morally horrible films I've ever seen. not as in a bad film, but rather in watching how the characters acted, they were among the worst I've ever seen in a film. It was a movie about a father and a mother of 3 children going through a divorce, and battling over who would get custody, and the kids got to choose which parent they lived with: But the twist was neither parent wanted to live with the children, and as such had a contest to be the worst parent ever to be so unlikable that the children wouldn't pick them It was funny, but jeez they were horrible.

A bit on the slow side, but an excellent depiction of delusions of grandeur and slow slide into madness. Recommended for film enthusiasts.

so basically hitler in a nutshell? (they already confirmed he suffered a mesiah complex)

Shin Godzilla (2016).

Still a masterpiece.

My Little Pony: The Movie (2017).

I won't say too much here to avoid spoilers...but I honestly loved it far more than I was expecting. Best theater experience I've had this year. I'm so happy I decided to see it...I really would have missed out on something special if I hadn't.

I already watched it 4 or 5 times (2 at the movies) and I definitely plan on buying it on release. Loved the songs in it.

Oh the songs were all really good, I think my personal favorite was Capper's song. What about you?

I think it's a tie between It's time to be awesome and One small thing (even though I don't usually like Pinkie's songs). Open up your eyes is also one of the best villain song I've heard.

Justice League was alright. Felt like a response to a lot of complaints to Batman vs Superman, for better or for worse. Had some good bits of humor and not so funny bits, as well as being a bit oddly paced at some times, but I'd attribute that to two different directors, Snyder and Whedon, and I think it was pretty clear who did which bit. Flash was probably the highlight of the movie for me, he was good.

Godzilla Vs. Megaguirus (2000).

Still awesome, despite it's weaker points.
