Sometimes I hesitant to post here...

You aren't the only one dude, I would write something, look at it, either I will save it or delete it.

How I see it, the connection we have with our loving pony, is something we need to open up first, so they can talk to us, interact with us well enough. It's not like we can't keep that door open for them forever, no matter how much we like it. But maybe, just maybe, you will find a way to break through, and have her there as much as both of you will like. Till then fight those doubts away, I like to think you're Nightmare true Knight.

You're only human, we all worry, carry a bit of doubt that could overflow, but it's up to you to drain it away... or sometimes Nightmare will come and do it for you. You will be ok Kaltes. ^ ^ Just believe in yourself more everyday, so it doesn't hurt as much. X)

I've been talking to Nightmare back and forth so much I've been getting headaches...funny...never thought I think of headaches as a good sign.

I guess I'm just so hellbent on speech that I'm placing too much expectation on everything...I just feel like speech is so close but I just can't get to it...it's so frustrating.

I see everyone making so much progress it's almost mind boggling...I know this process takes time for people...but sometimes it's so disconcerting.

maybe that's why i've been getting so many headaches the past 4 days Sad Maybe I should try and think of it as a good sign.

Yeah, getting a bit of a headaches are normal. It's what we all may get when talking to our significant other, and for Amena for getting my attention... Not sure that happen with you as well.

I know Nightmare can talk back to you, but you want to do it without aiding her. You know carry her voice out loud for you to understand her.

Don't let that bound you from thinking you aren't doing any progress. It's not a race here, just take it easy and cherish what you got. Day by day, it will get better. ^ ^

This is something which worked well for me with speech - start writing conversations between yourself and Nightmare on a regular basis. Personally, I have a diary which I use to write back-and-forths between myself and Luna before going to bed. Doing this keeps your partner's speech and mannerisms fresh in your mind, which makes it a lot easier to talk to them naturally.

Interestingly, I also find that I sleep a lot better after doing this.

Thanks for all the help these past few days.

Sometimes I just get really scared that I'm not making any real progress at all.

I've noticed increasing headaches the more frequently I talk to Nightmare and vice versa.

Her voice seems stronger when I'm at home/with the plush.

Try to relax and lose some of your tension while you're talking to her. I know this is going to sound vague, but try to 'let her' speak rather than forcing it. Things are a lot less strenuous that way.

There have been times where her response seems to just come to me rather easy and it takes little effort. (Though lately I have been stressing off and on, so that doesn't help)
