Having Kids with your Waifu?

What are your thoughts on this?

Do you ever feel like having a relationship with an IRL woman so you can procreate? I know some of you have kids with your waifus and I'm curious how that all works out do they grow up? Do they interfere with you and your wife?

I have three.

I've raised one before, back in my old 'wonderland,' but she wasn't mine. Basically babysat for my neighbors a lot. Was a lot of fun. Living with a child completely, though, or three, is a whole new twist on my past experience. Yes, they grow up, yes, they interfere, but then again life does anyway, and they're a part of life, so it's just more stuff that life would interfere with. Hell, Twilight herself could be grouped up similarly when I'm trying to spend time with them. It's all perspective.

In regard to how it works, though, that's more complicated. And I think I've explained some of it to you before in PM, where I'd rather talk about it if you'd inquire.

The subject of not having kids in real life is one that kind of stresses me out. I'm the eldest son in my family, and I'm actually a "fourth" (you know...so and so senior, so and so junior, so and so III, then so and so IV); I am therefore constantly aware of the burden of "legacy" that it should be my duty to shoulder. And yet, the path of love I have chosen is one that will not bear any tangible fruit to be a comfort in my parents' dotage, nor shall there be any flesh-and-blood human child to be the "fifth." I sometimes find myself thinking "the line of my forefathers ends with me," and then I start feeling like I'm the decadent scion of an aristocratic house fated to crumble, like Roger Usher in Edgar Allen Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher," or Des Esseintes in Joris-Karl Huysmans's Against the Grain...and that's not a good feeling.

As for the logistics of having kids with A.J., while it's something I think we'd both like to do someday, there is one major issue. While we could have children, since we're a pony and human couple our children would end up being like mules are in the everyday world...that is to say, sterile. To take away from the start the capacity of my children to grow up and start families of their own is not something I could morally do. If, however, a talented wizard like Twilight can figure out some kind of magic that would "fix them up," as it were, then a family might become a more legitimate option...

The idea of having children just doesn't appeal to me. That and given our species difference I always guessed conception would be impossible. But sometimes I like to think about raising a little filly together.

Jamie and I have two ourselves! We are the proud parents of a pair of beautiful filly twins, Snow Storm and Glacia. Although sometimes the argument can be made that Jamie actually has three foals if you wanna count me too. *giggles and hugs him*

Na, we both do our share of taking care of them. Naturally, she does a bit more for them because I spend a lot of time at work, plus she has the proper organs to take care of them properly with. (Our little ones still regularly nurse from her) it's actually quite cute to see.

But I'm not finished. I don't know for sure if Ziggy and I will ever have fillies. And we've both accepted that. But who knows? Maybe we will. We're a team and a family as it is.
And if I ever have children, it would be with Angelbabe. But having her in my life is more than enough.
Good answer, Ziggy. And I'd never really hoofsmack you... Unless you cheated on me. In which case, all bets are off.

Though, her children would be absolutely adorable, neither of us really want kids, plus I'd probably be a shit father anyway. The thought is cute though.
