Greetings, all. I am Shimmer Majesty (though I suppose to abbreviate, you may refer to me as Shimmy). I recently created an account on the MLW forum, but research into the excessive dramatics of the site pushed me to quickly relocate here.
My story is a little different and very odd, and I myself am still coming to terms with it. I may not have a waifu (yet), but I believe that I myself am actually a pony who has managed to cross the boundary into the human world, and then was trapped in a human body. The waifu community's thoughts and ideas on crossing the divide are very interesting to me, as I am searching for a way to return to Equestria. It is something that was once hard for me to accept- after all, it sounds veritably crazy- but I am slowly accepting that this is who I am, and the general waifu community seems very accepting and it's a place that I would like to be a part of as I learn more of myself.

Thanks, all! And I won't ignore you, Lurker, I have read a lot of your posts on MLW and it has given me too much respect for you to actually do so! I myself don't understand it too well, so I cannot verify whether or not it truly is an otherkin situation.

It's a pleasure to have you here, Shimmer Majesty! I hope you find the forums stimulating, pleasant, and helpful as you figure this out. And it sounds like you may have looked into the otherkin community, but if you haven't, it might behoove you to do that. I'm sorry if that's obvious advice, but it seems like, even if you discover that you don't see yourself as an otherkin, they may have helpful things to say about similar situations.
