I wish others would feel welcome here, we could use the diversity, Not saying I have a problem with ponies, but I feel a bit like an outsider. The 2nd community I tried joining (tohno) shunned me cause my waifu is a khajiit, and therefor a furry.
Which they seem to have a problem with. Unless its from anime of course, then it's suddenly fine.

I was right: They are dumb. And hypocritical, to boot.

This site / community intends to be inclusive. It's just that many of us (as you might have heard) migrated from a site that focused on individuals with pony partners.

So far as the "furry" thing is concerned... I've seen people draw parallels between ponylovers / cloppers and furries. Several of my earliest crushes were animated mice. More recently, I've had the good fortune of running into individuals that fervently disparage even the mere attraction to ponies. Sometimes it's apparently a moral issue. x3

And I, personally, haven't the slightest problem with your partner being Khajiit.

Their rules even contradict themselves. The place was pretty much a circle jerk.

• /mai/ is a safe zone. Insulting, talking down, or arguing with someone about their waifu is not cool. I don't care how much you hate the character or the where they're from or whatever, be respectful of people's waifus on /mai/ and take it to one of the other boards if you have to.
(note that furry and 3dpd are still not allowed, even on /mai/. waifus/husbandos from western media are allowed to be discussed only on the condition that the no 3dpd rule is respected and images of said characters are not posted, this includes images of realistic 3d models.)

Ugh, I can't begin to describe how much shit like that pisses me off. As someone who's most significant infatuations/loves in life have been cartoon animals/furries, it's so hypocritical. My inner reaction whenever I hear that excuse of "Well at least they're human" is:


Doesn't help that for a time there was a time I felt ashamed of myself and like a total freak.

Funny thing is I find those anime characters as off putting as they find furry characters.
