I never said you said you specifically wanted to take stuff away for me. I said "other people", who you are arguing in favor of.

If it's just money we're talking about, I'm in favor of helping people who genuinely need it. Or, at the very damned least, not ignoring them or making their lives even more difficult than they might already be.

Other than that, i'm tired. You can stay mad at me or think i'm jerk for not giving away what I earn. I really don't care at the moment. I gotta work tomorrow. Good Night my sweet prince.

If I think you're a jerk, it isn't for not giving away what you earn. If I think you're a jerk, it'd be for downplaying the hardships of others that you've never personally experienced. That, and behaving as though your path to economic success is available to absolutely everyone.
