I have an OC that's me as a pony.

Though his specialty is novelty clocks, and I don't have much in the way of mechanical skills, so it doesn't count.

depends. do you like collecting them? you don't have to be a mechanic mind to do clocks.

hell i neither joined the guard nor have any really soldier training, but i'm still a warrior and protector by nature and cutie mark.
(i never felt i had the discipline for the guard, but i will always aid them in a fight, and prince armor always has my respect as someone that i see as a role model)

trust me when i say, it isn't about what training in the field you have, but about what field calls to your heart. for me, being there and defending those who mean something to me, is who i am. if clocks are your thing, then i say build the biggest collection of clocks you can.
