I wish human teeth would fall out and regrow naturally. The current arrangement is just so prone to things going permanently wrong in big and painful ways.

I agree. I had a molar fall apart due to overcrowding caused by my wisdom teeth (which I did not have extracted / still have no intention of having extracted), and that thing caused me some of the worst pain in all my life. I was grateful when the dentist wrenched it out of my jaw.
