A gunman armed with an assault rifle, apparently a terrorist / terrorist sympathizer, killed at least 50 people in a gay night club in Orlando, Florida.

And he did this because, well... They were gay. He had no trouble whatsoever legally purchasing firearms just a week or so prior to committing this hate crime and mass shooting.

as a gun supporter i can tell you this is not because law abiding citizens can own guns.

it is because the gov didn't do the background check right.
think about it, the fbi investigated him as a terrorist before he bought his weapon.
now i know that if i had been investigated for that, my background would light up like a christmas tree as suspicious when trying to buy one, so when this guy's check had a red flag why did they let it go through?

already there are protections in place, but this is an example of someone in the system being lazy, or being paid to willfully ignore someone trying to buy when they shouldnt be allowed to
