Honestly sick of the people who just can't keep themselves from posting about Lovecraft's racist, et cetera, views whenever and wherever they fucking can. If that's all you can think of when you're reading a story about a giant octopus-headed extraterrestrial, you're a terribly boring individual. The man died in 1937, and now, in the year 2016, I'm reading comments where someone is claiming that Lovecraft would have taken issue with the casting of the recent Ghostbusters. Are you... Are you fucking stupid? If you plucked a man out of the 1920's or 30's and placed him in the modern day, he'd probably go, "HOLY FUCKING SHIT EVERYTHING IS NEW!" He wouldn't immediately fit himself into some internet-born stereotype that you think would best suit him.
