First and foremost, it's an unforgivably boring holiday. One of which that has, ironically, lost all meaning in modern American culture. It might as well be called "The day where we stuff our fat, ugly faces full of food and then go shopping." Working in retail means I get to spend the day serving a bunch of greedy, ungrateful pigs.
That and I hate November as a whole. It brings up entirely too many horrid memories and it seems whenever something bad happens to me it's in this goddamn month. And I hate the fact that a holiday that should be about family just reminds me of my own fucked up, sorry excuse of a family.
