Surely the Millennium Falcon arc doesn't refer to the Star Wars ship, does it? is there some kind of crossover thing going on?

It is a reference to the Star Wars ship, and in some translations the arc is renamed to "Falcon of the Millennium Empire". There's a few other sci-fi references in the series too.
