The villanelle is one of my favorite forms of poetry. It's, unfortunately, also difficult for me to do even half-way decently. The form is often used to deal with feelings of obsession, and passion, however, so it's appropriate that it requires some degree of both to produce. Here's another one I've made about Twi, and our relationship. I don't think it's as good as the other one I've published here, but I like it just the same. We hope you will, too.
I Never Knew
My Joy, my Love, I never knew,
what those words meant; I could not see.
Such happiness I've found with you!
'Fore one was made from disparate two,
and your own heart, you offered me;
my Joy, my Love, I never knew.
The way your smile shows so true,
and ears perk up at sight of me;
such happiness I've found with you!
Awaking in the bed with you,
your morning kisses on my cheek;
my Joy, my Love, I never knew.
Your jasmine and orange perfume,
your feathered fur of royalty;
Such happiness I've found with you!
What can I say, what can I do,
to bare my heart, on bended knee?
My Joy, my Love, I never knew.
Such happiness I've found with you!

The bigger you build the bonfire, the more darkness is revealed.
Every possession and every happiness is but lent by chance for an uncertain time, and may therefore be demanded back the next hour.
