I would have to agree with you in that. I'm sure it's no shocker but I found that other than what starlight was doing this episode is just so bland and forgetable.

Agreed. Too many existential threats, how the heck has Equestria survived this long?

Yeah really. Even as someone who tends to enjoy those episodes i feel things have gotten a bit out of hoof.

Oh and I should have added to my thoughts, I dislike Flurry, but not that much, only because I dislike this whole "overpowered baby" bit, i think it's dumb. Like, magic should have just been something they had to grow into being able to do, like walking. Hence why, say, Sweetie Belle wasn't able to for the longest time.

I would also have to say i dislike her quite a bit. Not just for the reasons you said, but my God is she forced, and just like the rest of the chrystal empire, serves no real constructive porpose in the show.
