I first heard this song on the Armageddon soundtrack years ago. I loved Chantal's rendition, but never cared for the meaning of the song itself; It sounds like an unfaithful douche trying to sweet talk his cuck-queen into putting up with him wandering again. Recently, I found it in my collection and relistened to it. It's every bit as enjoyable, and loathsome as I recall it being, but rather than ignoring it until it fell back into obscurity, or doing my best to ignore the message while savoring her voice, I decided to write a more appropriate version of the song.
