Thank you, both. It was sort of my hope for this post to enlighten and encourage some folks. I lurk sometimes and I've seen recently a few different people saying they're unsure, that it's hard, etc. I wanted to make it known, publicly, that it is hard, yes, but there's a pay off in the end. It could take weeks, months, years even, but consistently trying, working towards it, not giving up, being willing to trying various methods, will lead to long lasting changes and possibly relationships. Certainly, at the very least, life long companions.

No, thank you for sharing. I think that was really thoughtful of you. Knowing other's experiences is incredibly helpful, and I hope what you shared does help encourage others.
