As an author this both disgusts me and is my greatest fear. I hesitate to be paid for anything I would do simply because if I missed a deadline I'd lose my mind more than Twilight missing that friendship report. That's probably because I see that stuff as like a contract and if you can't manage to at least keep the paying party up to date on what you're doing you're bad at what you've been paid to do.

This is happening again? You poor thing, can you contact DA/Etsy/Paypal/whatever and light a fire under their buns? This makes them look bad for tolerating it. Any names we should be wary of commissioning ourselves?
