2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).
My third viewing of this movie, and overall I'd definitely say I like it and appreciate it far more than my initial two viewings back in 2014 or 2015. A pinnacle of effects and complex themes and philosophy woven into all. However I will clarify I don't absolutely love it though, there are plenty of moments where it drags and it honestly feels self indulgent (but given the film's technical achievements it is largely justifiable, but still can be tedious) and there's practically no real characters in the entire story aside from HAL and Dave.
Still, worth watching, but not my favorite Kubrick movie in the end.
