All lights on me, the stage is set!
Hello!
I am joining this seemingly-endearing community in hopes of finding some good friends I can have fun, intriguing and impassioned discussions regarding MLP - the franchise as a whole as well as our technicolor overlords. Of course, this isn't to say I'd be excluding other topics of interest! We humans are quite dynamic, eh?
This is the part where I mention a few words about myself, and I will be blunt.
The first time I discovered MLP was way back in 2010, when only the first two pilot episodes were out. Like many others; I was initially sceptical, but quickly grew a ''strange'' liking to the show. Throughout the years I've had an on and off relationship with the show, because of personal issues with the fanbase which tended to ruin the experience for me. However, I've recently come to realize that I shouldn't let a few bad apples distort my lenses of the show. We should all simply enjoy and embrace what we like, without letting others ruin it for us.
Now, for the intimate part...
I absolutely love Twilight Sparkle. I always have. Despite my fierce rollercoaster ride, I never once ceased to love her. I see there are quite a few others on this forum who have their own Twilight they adore, and I hope we get to shake hooves... (for now). That was a joke, I really want to befriend you.
I hope I get to know you all.
