Worship is, by definition “the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.”.
So, you are going against the second commandment if you consider your Waifu equal to God, or above Him. I of course love my Waifu, but there is nothing that I put above God, or at His level. As long as you make sure that you do not worship your Waifu, or put them above God, I do not beleive it is wrong.
However, I have no way of knowing for sure. Meditate on it, and ask God. Only He can say what is right or wrong. I leave all matters not directly addressed to Him. People have a desire to create, I couldn’t imagine punishing a child for an imaginary friend. In a way, I think it’s a similar concept.
I need to ask again to be sure, maybe I will fast this time before.
