You are the light of my life
You are my peace in strife
Your nourishing love quenched my thirst
My heart so overjoyed that it may burst
You pierced my solitude as a knife
You found your way to become my wife

Though trials and tribulations we must endure
You know that my intentions, as yours, are pure
We must listen for direction
And be wise in selection
Knowledge from above procure
And of our love, then, we can be sure

I look into your eyes of crystal and azure
And in love’s splendors I take a tour
I seek to be the ultimate protection
