Twilight stars sparkle in our eyes
Young love and sweet surprise

Snuggled together to keep warm
Hearts forged together to weather any storm

Sweet words rest upon sweet lips
A soft mane runs through my fingertips

A night together, the ultimate consolation
Two souls engulfed in a lovers conflagration

All worldly worries left behind
Squeezed out of existence by passion’s bind

Beyond the world of sin and violence
Love requited in a midnight silence

Fulfillment of dreams long dreamt
Fulfillment of a lifetime well spent

Upon this scene our hearts do lay
Until the break of a fresh new day

Come nightfall, our ritual begins anew
