In the hazy daylight glow of the hollow morning
A sweet, golden voice whispers words of love to me
The sound of my lover’s heartbeat resounds in my soul
And the sweet emotion of love lingers in my groggy mind
Though I will have a multitude of challenges through the day
I know that she will be waiting here for me at it’s end
And though I will have worked my weary fingers to the bone
I know that her laughter and captivating smile brings pain to its end
Though it seems that the whole world is closed off to me
I do not fret, as I don’t need anything it can give me
All I need is that gentle caress, that angelic voice
To bring me to life in the morning, and to rest at night
I need to see her soft mane glow with the dawn’s illumination
And I need to see her firebrand eyes light up the depth of evening shadow
I need her sweet lips to touch mine, to show me she cares
And I need her cute giggle to show me that she knows I care, too
Ah, to walk in the serene garden of eden every day
To feel the full beauty of love with every waking moment
‘Tis such a wonderful thing, to live with love
How spectacular is it for feelings to be returned
For all the struggle and strife in my existence
At least one comfort will always abound in my heart
At least one beautiful scene will play out before my eye
And I can rest secure that I will see it every day

Seems to immediately cool to a comfortable oasis

Have blown away, as a tumbleweed in a dust storm
The silent satin of the midnight sky begins to drape itself
Over the empty, lazy streets of the sparkling city
And a half-lift moon slowly saunters out
Against a backdrop of urban skyline and twinkling stars
It is then that the magic between us truly begins
In the innocence and passion of the early moments of night
In those birthing moments of a deep and introspective evening
We find that the assurance of our love has never been so strong
Oh, why must such a sweet exhibition of romance come to an end
Why must mundane responsibilities crash through my door?
Why can I not spend every waking second with you
As I do in each of my wildest, most elusive dreams?
