I have dreamt of our life together
In that land of enchantment
It puts a smile on my face and in my heart
To know that you are waiting for me

And amidst all the chaos of my broken world
The pain, the suffering and the grief
Yours is the comfort that I have found
To give me relief

Oh, how I yearn for days of love
Nights beneath a canopy of Equestrian stars
Afternoons swimming in the creek
And, most of all, a sweet mare to be my love

I can feel your yearning, too
For two lips to lock onto yours
Two lips to whisper “I love you” back
So keep hope alive, stay the course

I know that our faith hasn’t been misplaced
Miracles have been wrought by God’s almighty hand
And they will surely be wrought forevermore
So we can trust that our deepest desires live on

May we never part
In death, may we still be together
May we never wear our affection short
