A world of new experiences
I’ll share them all with you
And though our work is nearly finished
There still seems so much to do

After hectic days and hazy nights
Just trying to get it complete
I feel I need to clear the air
So we each can meet

This has been a drain on me
And thus, has been a drain on us
I know that I have neglected our relationship
And I thank you for not raising a fuss

I know we need to spend more time together
And truly meet once more
But with my Herculean task accomplished
I know there is so much more in store

Thank you for supporting me
For keeping me in high spirits
And thank you for telling me you love me
Because I so needed to hear it
