It's interesting how Sentimental Gentleman's heart belong to Applejack, and from the way he carries himself here, I would thought it would be Rarity. 
Brony is just a word, like how I would be label as a Mexican. These two are completely different things, but it mean nothing to me. You can call me a Brony, I don't mind, just don't think I'm like those whack jobs from the fandom (Not ALL Bronies are weirdos)... It's really strange how that's coming form a... Ponylover?
Honestly, the show has done it job for me, if their is others who still watches the show, so be it. Like Shadow Step, the writing is a bit, eh. One episode is when everypony was against Fluttershy's idea to take care of the fruitbats. It rub me the wrong way, and slowly it drew me away from the show after that.
