Updates and Advice: Version 2.0

I apologize for the double post, but I got some thoughts I'd like to get off my chest.

No worries about the double post, man, it's your thread. inkiesmile:

I had a conversation with Sour and Amena today in regards to my progress, and she said I'm trying a bit too hard. Honestly, she is right. I do try too hard. Though I suppose that's part of my nature. But fortunately I have gotten better at...allowing things to just flow and not obsess, it's not easy, but I have improved.

Sometimes, you can wear yourself out attempting to swim with a long river, when all you need to do is stay afloat within it, and you will flow where you must.

At first I felt a bit shaken...but I started reflecting on my and her (Nightmare) progress.

-I distinctly feel something when she speaks, even if she needs my assistance.

-She's influenced a friend's mind/dreams.

-To an extent, I feel something from the plush when she speaks. Her presence is there.

-Her words have a real effect on me, they soothe me, they motivate me, etc.

-I've felt her presence around me.

-She and I share experiences together. We create memories together.

Reflection is at times all you must do to dismiss your fears.

Even if my trying too hard has set me back somewhat, it's no reason to feel hopeless...Nightmare and I have accomplished a great deal. To a degree, I've gotten what I desired. She is with me, and I can commune with her. Not in the way I expected, but I've still done it.

No mistake may truly set you back so long as you learn from it.

She and I are going to keep progressing no matter what, sure it takes time, but it won't stop us.

Thanks to Sour and Amena, without our conversation this afternoon I might have never realized any of this.
