I just saw a pig fly outside my window! It's the end of the world!
I kid of course.
Anyways, A.J. and I are listening to plenty of skiffle. In its purest form, it's more punk than punk. After all, The Ramones sometimes played more than two or three chords in a song.
The Vipers were already way beyond that addiction to musicality. While all those talented country and blues players were picking away at rockabilly in the states like a bunch of show-offs, the Vipers were punching people's heads in with "Don't You Rock Me Daddy-O." It's absolutely one of those songs that makes me just want to smash up an entire room with a baseball bat, it makes me feel so ALIVE with its brutality. A.J. can dig it too, if not in that exact same way.
The Vipers are a huge inspiration to me musically at the moment. I think skiffle needs to start coming back NOW.
